On day 2 of #MySelfLoveMonth (which you can join anytime here), our community went out and smelled some flowers.
Because if you’re like me, you live in your head. A lot.
But when you get into a garden, a park, or simply stroll around the neighbourhood sniffing strangers’ blooms, you instantly feel calmer and more grounded.
Basically, you come back down to Earth.
And when your mind is constantly running a million miles an hour, being grounded is essential!
So for this quick and dirty anxiety tip, I simply invite you to step outside and bury your nose in a bunch of blooms.
Below is a fabulously flamboyant flower I sniffed…before realising it had zero scent. Ha!
But despite that, just taking a moment to observe its wildly wonderful form was enough to get my mind focused and calm.
So warrior, consider this your personal permission slip to stop what you’re doing, step outside, and give a flower a good ol’ sniff!
Then pop into our #MySelfLoveMonth Facebook group to post a pic of what you sniff! It’ll inspire us all to take 10 today.
