So, we know there’s no quick fix for anxiety. Bummer.

Yoga (I like Iyengar to burn nervous energy, and Yin when I need nurturing)
Social survival kit
Leave plenty of time to pack and prepare
Take a friend – or plan to meet someone there
Give yourself a time limit. If you hate it after, say, 10 minutes…you can leave!
Visualise yourself being calm, confident and having fun
Give yourself a goal. Like, “I will introduce myself to one person.”
